Matthew 10:4-14

JUB 4 Simon the Canaanite and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him. NIV 4 Simon the Zealot and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed him. JUB 5 These twelve Jesus sent forth and commanded them, saying, Do not go into the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter into <em>any</em> city of the Samaritans, NIV 5 These twelve Jesus sent out with the following instructions: “Do not go among the Gentiles or enter any town of the Samaritans. JUB 6 but go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. NIV 6 Go rather to the lost sheep of Israel. JUB 7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of the heavens has come. NIV 7 As you go, proclaim this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven has come near.’ JUB 8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons; freely ye have received, freely give. NIV 8 Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give. JUB 9 Provide neither gold nor silver nor money in your girdles, NIV 9 “Do not get any gold or silver or copper to take with you in your belts— JUB 10 nor bag for <em>your</em> journey, neither two coats, neither shoes nor a staff, for the workman is worthy of his food. NIV 10 no bag for the journey or extra shirt or sandals or a staff, for the worker is worth his keep. JUB 11 And into whatever city or town ye shall enter, search out <em>with diligence</em> who in it is worthy; and there abide until ye go from there. NIV 11 Whatever town or village you enter, search there for some worthy person and stay at their house until you leave. JUB 12 And entering into the house, salute it. NIV 12 As you enter the home, give it your greeting. JUB 13 And if the house is worthy, your peace shall come upon it; but if it is not worthy, your peace shall return to you. NIV 13 If the home is deserving, let your peace rest on it; if it is not, let your peace return to you. JUB 14 And whosoever shall not receive you nor hear your words, depart out of that house or city and shake off the dust of your feet. NIV 14 If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, leave that home or town and shake the dust off your feet.
