Matthew 26:25-35

RSV 25 Judas, who betrayed him, said, "Is it I, Master?" He said to him, "You have said so." NIV 25 Then Judas, the one who would betray him, said, “Surely you don’t mean me, Rabbi?” Jesus answered, “You have said so.” RSV 26 Now as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, "Take, eat; this is my body." NIV 26 While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.” RSV 27 And he took a cup, and when he had given thanks he gave it to them, saying, "Drink of it, all of you; NIV 27 Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. RSV 28 for this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. NIV 32 But after I have risen, I will go ahead of you into Galilee.” RSV 33 Peter declared to him, "Though they all fall away because of you, I will never fall away." NIV 33 Peter replied, “Even if all fall away on account of you, I never will.” RSV 34 Jesus said to him, "Truly, I say to you, this very night, before the cock crows, you will deny me three times." NIV 34 “Truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “this very night, before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times.” RSV 35 Peter said to him, "Even if I must die with you, I will not deny you." And so said all the disciples. NIV 35 But Peter declared, “Even if I have to die with you, I will never disown you.” And all the other disciples said the same.
