18 Afin qu'il ne paraisse pas aux hommes que tu jeûnes, mais seulement à ton Père qui est présent en secret; et ton Père qui voit dans le secret te récompensera publiquement.

so that it will not be obvious to others that you are fasting, but only to your Father, who is unseen; and your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
