Numbers 14:26-34

KJV 26 And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying, NIV 26 The LORD said to Moses and Aaron: KJV 27 How long shall I bear with this evil congregation, which murmur against me? I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel, which they murmur against me. NIV 27 “How long will this wicked community grumble against me? I have heard the complaints of these grumbling Israelites. KJV 28 Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the LORD, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you: NIV 28 So tell them, ‘As surely as I live, declares the LORD, I will do to you the very thing I heard you say: KJV 29 Your carcases shall fall in this wilderness; and all that were numbered of you, according to your whole number, from twenty years old and upward, which have murmured against me, NIV 29 In this wilderness your bodies will fall—every one of you twenty years old or more who was counted in the census and who has grumbled against me. KJV 30 Doubtless ye shall not come into the land, concerning which I sware to make you dwell therein, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun. NIV 30 Not one of you will enter the land I swore with uplifted hand to make your home, except Caleb son of Jephunneh and Joshua son of Nun. KJV 31 But your little ones, which ye said should be a prey, them will I bring in, and they shall know the land which ye have despised. NIV 31 As for your children that you said would be taken as plunder, I will bring them in to enjoy the land you have rejected. KJV 32 But as for you, your carcases, they shall fall in this wilderness. NIV 32 But as for you, your bodies will fall in this wilderness. KJV 33 And your children shall wander in the wilderness forty years, and bear your whoredoms, until your carcases be wasted in the wilderness. NIV 33 Your children will be shepherds here for forty years, suffering for your unfaithfulness, until the last of your bodies lies in the wilderness. KJV 34 After the number of the days in which ye searched the land, even forty days, each day for a year, shall ye bear your iniquities, even forty years, and ye shall know my breach of promise. NIV 34 For forty years—one year for each of the forty days you explored the land—you will suffer for your sins and know what it is like to have me against you.’
