Philippians 2:5-11

CEB 5 Adopt the attitude that was in Christ Jesus: NIV 5 In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: CEB 6 Though he was in the form of God, he did not consider being equal with God something to exploit. NIV 6 Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; CEB 7 But he emptied himself by taking the form of a slave and by becoming like human beings. When he found himself in the form of a human, NIV 7 rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. CEB 8 he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. NIV 8 And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross! CEB 9 Therefore, God highly honored him and gave him a name above all names, NIV 9 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, CEB 10 so that at the name of Jesus everyone in heaven, on earth, and under the earth might bow NIV 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, CEB 11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. NIV 11 and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
