Psalm 101

NLT 1 I will sing of your love and justice, LORD . I will praise you with songs. NIV 1 I will sing of your love and justice; to you, LORD, I will sing praise. NLT 2 I will be careful to live a blameless life— when will you come to help me? I will lead a life of integrity in my own home. NIV 2 I will be careful to lead a blameless life— when will you come to me? I will conduct the affairs of my house with a blameless heart. NLT 3 I will refuse to look at anything vile and vulgar. I hate all who deal crookedly; I will have nothing to do with them. NIV 3 I will not look with approval on anything that is vile. I hate what faithless people do; I will have no part in it. NLT 4 I will reject perverse ideas and stay away from every evil. NIV 4 The perverse of heart shall be far from me; I will have nothing to do with what is evil. NLT 5 I will not tolerate people who slander their neighbors. I will not endure conceit and pride. NIV 5 Whoever slanders their neighbor in secret, I will put to silence; whoever has haughty eyes and a proud heart, I will not tolerate. NLT 6 I will search for faithful people to be my companions. Only those who are above reproach will be allowed to serve me. NIV 6 My eyes will be on the faithful in the land, that they may dwell with me; the one whose walk is blameless will minister to me. NLT 7 I will not allow deceivers to serve in my house, and liars will not stay in my presence. NIV 7 No one who practices deceit will dwell in my house; no one who speaks falsely will stand in my presence. NLT 8 My daily task will be to ferret out the wicked and free the city of the LORD from their grip. NIV 8 Every morning I will put to silence all the wicked in the land; I will cut off every evildoer from the city of the LORD.
