38 En zij hebben onschuldig bloed vergoten, het bloed hunner zonen en hunner dochteren, die zij den afgoden van Kanaan hebben opgeofferd; zodat het land door deze bloedschulden is ontheiligd geworden.
38 They shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan, and the land was desecrated by their blood.
