1 ( Dàwèi de shī , jiāo yǔ líng zhǎng ) wǒ suǒ zànmĕi de shén a , qiú nǐ búyào bì kǒu bù yán .

My God, whom I praise, do not remain silent,
2 Yīnwei è rén de zuǐ, hé guǐzhà rén de kǒu , yǐjing zhāng kāi gōngjī wǒ . tāmen yòng sā huǎng de shétou duì wǒ shuōhuà .

for people who are wicked and deceitful have opened their mouths against me; they have spoken against me with lying tongues.
3 Tāmen wéirǎo wǒ , shuō yuànhèn de huà , yòu wú gù dì gōngdǎ wǒ .

With words of hatred they surround me; they attack me without cause.
4 Tāmen yǔ wǒ wèi dí yǐ bào wǒ aì . dàn wǒ zhuān xīn qídǎo .

In return for my friendship they accuse me, but I am a man of prayer.
5 Tāmen xiàng wǒ yǐ è bào shàn , yǐ hèn bào aì .

They repay me evil for good, and hatred for my friendship.
6 Yuàn nǐ paì yī gè è rén xiá zhì tā , paì yī ge duìtóu zhàn zaì tā yòubiān .

Appoint someone evil to oppose my enemy; let an accuser stand at his right hand.
7 Tā shòu shĕnpàn de shíhou , yuàn tā chūlai dāndāng zuì míng . yuàn tāde qídǎo fǎn chéngwéi zuì .

When he is tried, let him be found guilty, and may his prayers condemn him.
8 Yuàn tāde nián rì duǎn shǎo . yuàn biérén de tāde zhífèn .

May his days be few; may another take his place of leadership.

May his children be fatherless and his wife a widow.

May his children be wandering beggars; may they be driven from their ruined homes.

May a creditor seize all he has; may strangers plunder the fruits of his labor.
12 Yuàn wú rén xiàng tā yán mián shī ēn . yuàn wú rén kĕliàn tāde gūér .

May no one extend kindness to him or take pity on his fatherless children.
13 Yuàn tāde hòurén duàn jué , míngzi beì túmǒ , bù zhuàn yú xià daì .

May his descendants be cut off, their names blotted out from the next generation.
14 Yuàn tā zǔzong de zuìniè beì Yēhéhuá jìniàn . yuàn tā mǔqin de zuì guo bù beì túmǒ .

May the iniquity of his fathers be remembered before the LORD; may the sin of his mother never be blotted out.
15 Yuàn zhèxie zuì cháng zaì Yēhéhuá miànqián , shǐ tāde míng haó duàn jué yú shì .

May their sins always remain before the LORD, that he may blot out their name from the earth.
16 Yīnwei tā bù xiǎng shī ēn , què bīpò kùnkǔ qióngfá de , hé shāngxīn de rén , yào bǎ tāmen zhìsǐ .

For he never thought of doing a kindness, but hounded to death the poor and the needy and the brokenhearted.
17 Tā aì zhòumà , zhòumà jiù líndào tā . tā bù xǐaì fú lè , fú lè jiù yǔ tā yuǎn lí .

He loved to pronounce a curse— may it come back on him. He found no pleasure in blessing— may it be far from him.
18 Tā ná zhòumà dāng yīfu chuān shang . zhè zhòumà jiù rú shuǐ jìn tā lǐmiàn , xiàng yóu rù tāde gútou .

He wore cursing as his garment; it entered into his body like water, into his bones like oil.
19 Yuàn zhè zhòumà dāng tā zhē shēn de yīfu , dāng tā cháng shù de yàodaì .

May it be like a cloak wrapped about him, like a belt tied forever around him.
20 Zhè jiù shì wǒ duìtóu , hé yòng è yán yìlùn wǒde rén , cóng Yēhéhuá nàli suǒ shòu de bàoyìng .

May this be the LORD’s payment to my accusers, to those who speak evil of me.
21 Zhǔ Yēhéhuá a , qiú nǐ wèi nǐde míng ēn dāi wǒ . yīn nǐde cíaì mĕihǎo , qiú nǐ dājiù wǒ .

But you, Sovereign LORD, help me for your name’s sake; out of the goodness of your love, deliver me.
22 Yīnwei wǒ kùnkǔ qióngfá , neì xīn shòushāng .

For I am poor and needy, and my heart is wounded within me.
23 Wǒ rú rì yǐng jiànjiàn piān xié ér qù . wǒ rú huángchóng beì dǒu chūlai .

I fade away like an evening shadow; I am shaken off like a locust.
24 Wǒ yīn jìnshí , xī gū ruǎnfuò ; wǒ shēnshang de ròu yĕ jiànjiàn shòu le .

My knees give way from fasting; my body is thin and gaunt.
25 Wǒ shòu tāmende xiūrǔ . tāmen kànjian wǒ , biàn yáo tóu .

I am an object of scorn to my accusers; when they see me, they shake their heads.
26 Yēhéhuá wǒde shén a , qiú nǐ bāngzhu wǒ , zhào nǐde cíaì zhĕngjiù wǒ .

Help me, LORD my God; save me according to your unfailing love.
27 Shǐ tāmen zhīdào zhè shì nǐde shǒu , shì nǐ Yēhéhuá suǒ xíng de shì .

Let them know that it is your hand, that you, LORD, have done it.
28 Rènpíng tāmen zhòumà . wéi yuàn nǐ cì fú . tāmen jǐshí qǐlai jiù bì méng xiū , nǐde púrén què yào huānxǐ .

While they curse, may you bless; may those who attack me be put to shame, but may your servant rejoice.
29 Yuàn wǒde duìtóu , pī daì xiūrǔ . yuàn tāmen yǐ zìjǐ de xiūkuì wèi waì paó zhē shēn .

May my accusers be clothed with disgrace and wrapped in shame as in a cloak.
30 Wǒ yào yòng kǒu jílì chēngxiè Yēhéhuá . wǒ yào zaì zhòngrén zhōngjiān zànmĕi tā .

With my mouth I will greatly extol the LORD; in the great throng of worshipers I will praise him.
31 Yīnwei tā bì zhàn zaì qióngfá rén de yòubiān , yào jiù tā tuōlí shĕnpàn tā línghún de rén .

For he stands at the right hand of the needy, to save their lives from those who would condemn them.
