1 ¡Aleluya! ¡Alabado sea el SEÑOR!¡Cuán bueno es cantar salmos a nuestro Dios,cuán agradable y justo es alabarlo!

1 Praise the LORD.How good it is to sing praises to our God, how pleasant and fitting to praise him!

2 El SEÑOR reconstruye a Jerusalény reúne a los exiliados de Israel;

2 The LORD builds up Jerusalem; he gathers the exiles of Israel.

3 restaura a los de corazón quebrantadoy cubre con vendas sus heridas.

3 He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

4 Él determina el número de las estrellasy a todas ellas les pone nombre.

4 He determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name.

5 Excelso es nuestro Señor, y grande su poder;su entendimiento es infinito;

5 Great is our Lord and mighty in power; his understanding has no limit.

6 El SEÑOR sostiene a los pobres,pero hace morder el polvo a los impíos.

6 The LORD sustains the humble but casts the wicked to the ground.

7 Canten al SEÑOR con gratitud;canten salmos a nuestro Dios al son del arpa.

7 Sing to the LORD with grateful praise; make music to our God on the harp.

8 Él cubre de nubes el cielo,envía la lluvia sobre la tierray hace crecer la hierba en los montes.

8 He covers the sky with clouds; he supplies the earth with rain and makes grass grow on the hills.

9 Él alimenta a los ganadosy a las crías de los cuervos cuando graznan.

9 He provides food for the cattle and for the young ravens when they call.

10 El SEÑOR no se deleita en los bríos del caballo,ni se complace en la fuerza del hombre,

10 His pleasure is not in the strength of the horse, nor his delight in the legs of the warrior;

11 sino que se complace en los que le temen,en los que confían en su gran amor.

11 the LORD delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love.

12 Alaba al SEÑOR, Jerusalén;alaba a tu Dios, oh Sión.

12 Extol the LORD, Jerusalem; praise your God, Zion.

13 Él refuerza los cerrojos de tus puertasy bendice a los que en ti habitan.

13 He strengthens the bars of your gates and blesses your people within you.

14 Él trae la paz a tus fronterasy te sacia con lo mejor del trigo.

14 He grants peace to your borders and satisfies you with the finest of wheat.

15 Envía su palabra a la tierra;su palabra corre a toda prisa.

15 He sends his command to the earth; his word runs swiftly.

16 Extiende la nieve cual blanco manto,esparce la escarcha cual ceniza.

16 He spreads the snow like wool and scatters the frost like ashes.

17 Deja caer el granizo como grava;¿quién puede resistir sus ventiscas?

17 He hurls down his hail like pebbles. Who can withstand his icy blast?

18 Pero envía su palabra y lo derrite;hace que el viento sople, y las aguas fluyen.

18 He sends his word and melts them; he stirs up his breezes, and the waters flow.

19 A Jacob le ha revelado su palabra;sus leyes y decretos a Israel.

19 He has revealed his word to Jacob, his laws and decrees to Israel.

20 Esto no lo ha hecho con ninguna otra nación;jamás han conocido ellas sus decretos.¡Aleluya! ¡Alabado sea el SEÑOR!

20 He has done this for no other nation; they do not know his laws.Praise the LORD.
