Salmos 25

1 A ti, SEÑOR, elevo mi alma;

1 In you, LORD my God, I put my trust.

2 mi Dios, en ti confío;no permitas que sea yo humillado,no dejes que mis enemigos se burlen de mí.

2 I trust in you; do not let me be put to shame, nor let my enemies triumph over me.

3 Quien en ti pone su esperanzajamás será avergonzado;pero quedarán en vergüenzalos que traicionan sin razón.

3 No one who hopes in you will ever be put to shame, but shame will come on those who are treacherous without cause.

4 SEÑOR, hazme conocer tus caminos;muéstrame tus sendas.

4 Show me your ways, LORD, teach me your paths.

5 Encamíname en tu verdad, ¡enséñame!Tú eres mi Dios y Salvador;¡en ti pongo mi esperanza todo el día!

5 Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.

6 Acuérdate, SEÑOR, de tu ternura y gran amor,que siempre me has mostrado;

6 Remember, LORD, your great mercy and love, for they are from of old.

7 olvida los pecados y transgresionesque cometí en mi juventud.Acuérdate de mí según tu gran amor,porque tú, SEÑOR, eres bueno.

7 Do not remember the sins of my youth and my rebellious ways; according to your love remember me, for you, LORD, are good.

8 Bueno y justo es el SEÑOR;por eso les muestra a los pecadores el camino.

8 Good and upright is the LORD; therefore he instructs sinners in his ways.

9 Él dirige en la justicia a los humildes,y les enseña su camino.

9 He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way.

10 Todas las sendas del SEÑOR son amor y verdadpara quienes cumplen los preceptos de su pacto.

10 All the ways of the LORD are loving and faithful toward those who keep the demands of his covenant.

11 Por amor a tu nombre, SEÑOR,perdona mi gran iniquidad.

11 For the sake of your name, LORD, forgive my iniquity, though it is great.

12 ¿Quién es el hombre que teme al SEÑOR?Será instruido en el mejor de los caminos.

12 Who, then, are those who fear the LORD? He will instruct them in the ways they should choose.

13 Tendrá una vida placentera,y sus descendientes heredarán la tierra.

13 They will spend their days in prosperity, and their descendants will inherit the land.

14 El SEÑOR brinda su amistad a quienes le honran,y les da a conocer su pacto.

14 The LORD confides in those who fear him; he makes his covenant known to them.

15 Mis ojos están puestos siempre en el SEÑOR,pues solo él puede sacarme de la trampa.

15 My eyes are ever on the LORD, for only he will release my feet from the snare.

16 Vuelve a mí tu rostro y tenme compasión,pues me encuentro solo y afligido.

16 Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted.

17 Crecen las angustias de mi corazón;líbrame de mis tribulaciones.

17 Relieve the troubles of my heart and free me from my anguish.

18 Fíjate en mi aflicción y en mis penurias,y borra todos mis pecados.

18 Look on my affliction and my distress and take away all my sins.

19 ¡Mira cómo se han multiplicado mis enemigos,y cuán violento es el odio que me tienen!

19 See how numerous are my enemies and how fiercely they hate me!

20 Protege mi vida, rescátame;no permitas que sea avergonzado,porque en ti busco refugio.

20 Guard my life and rescue me; do not let me be put to shame, for I take refuge in you.

21 Sean mi protección la integridad y la rectitud,porque en ti he puesto mi esperanza.

21 May integrity and uprightness protect me, because my hope, LORD, is in you.

22 ¡Libra, oh Dios, a Israelde todas sus angustias!

22 Deliver Israel, O God, from all their troubles!
