1 ( Dàwèi de xùn huì shī , jiāo yǔ líng zhǎng , yòng sī xián de lè qì ) shén a , qiú nǐ liú xīn tīng wǒde dǎogào . búyào yǐncáng bú tīng wǒde kĕnqiú .

Listen to my prayer, O God, do not ignore my plea;
2 Qiú nǐ zè ĕr tīng wǒ , yīngyún wǒ . wǒ āi tàn bù ān , fā shēng āi hng .

hear me and answer me. My thoughts trouble me and I am distraught
3 Dōu yīn chóudí de shēngyīn , è rén de qīyē . yīnwei tāmen jiāng zuìniè jiā zaì wǒ shēnshang , fānù qì bīpò wǒ .

because of what my enemy is saying, because of the threats of the wicked; for they bring down suffering on me and assail me in their anger.
4 Wǒ xīn zaì wǒ lǐmiàn shén shì téngtòng . sǐ de jīng huáng líndào wǒ shēn .

My heart is in anguish within me; the terrors of death have fallen on me.

Fear and trembling have beset me; horror has overwhelmed me.
6 Wǒ shuō , dàn yuàn wǒ yǒu chìbǎng xiàng gēzi , wǒ jiù fēi qù dé xiǎng ānxī .

I said, “Oh, that I had the wings of a dove! I would fly away and be at rest.

I would flee far away and stay in the desert;
8 Wǒ bì sù sù taó dào bì suǒ , tuōlí kuángfēng bào yǔ .

I would hurry to my place of shelter, far from the tempest and storm.”
9 Zhǔ a , qiú nǐ tūn miè tāmen , biànluàn tāmende shétou . yīnwei wǒ zaì chéng zhōng jiàn le qiángbào zhēngjing de shì .

Lord, confuse the wicked, confound their words, for I see violence and strife in the city.
10 Tāmen zaì chéngqiáng shǎng zhòuyè rǎo xíng . zaì chéng neì yĕ yǒu zuìniè hé jiān è .

Day and night they prowl about on its walls; malice and abuse are within it.
11 Xiéè zaì qízhōng , qīyē hé guǐzhà bù lí jiēshì .

Destructive forces are at work in the city; threats and lies never leave its streets.
12 Yuánlái bù shì chóudí rǔmà wǒ . ruò shì chóudí , hái kĕ rĕnnaì . yĕ bú shì hèn wǒde rén xiàng wǒ kuáng dà . ruò shì hèn wǒde rén , jiù bì duǒbì tā .

If an enemy were insulting me, I could endure it; if a foe were rising against me, I could hide.
13 Búliào shì nǐ , nǐ yuán yǔ wǒ píngdĕng , shì wǒde tóngbàn , shì wǒ zhī jǐ de péngyou .

But it is you, a man like myself, my companion, my close friend,
14 Wǒmen sùcháng bǐcǐ tánlùn , yǐwéi gān tián . wǒmen yǔ qúnzhòng zaì shén de diàn zhōng tóngxíng .

with whom I once enjoyed sweet fellowship at the house of God, as we walked about among the worshipers.
15 Yuàn sǐwáng hūrán líndào tāmen . yuàn tāmen huó huó de xià rù yīnjiān . yīnwei tāmende zhù chù , tāmende xīn zhōng , dōu shì xiéè .

Let death take my enemies by surprise; let them go down alive to the realm of the dead, for evil finds lodging among them.
16 Zhìyú wǒ , wǒ yào qiúgào shén . Yēhéhuá bì zhĕngjiù wǒ .

As for me, I call to God, and the LORD saves me.
17 Wǒ yào wǎnshang , zǎochen , shǎngwu , āi shēng bēitàn . tā yĕ bì tīng wǒde shēngyīn .

Evening, morning and noon I cry out in distress, and he hears my voice.
18 Tā jiùshú wǒ méng tuōlí gōngjī wǒde rén , shǐ wǒ dé xiǎng píngān . yīnwei yǔ wǒ xiāng zhēng de rén shén duō .

He rescues me unharmed from the battle waged against me, even though many oppose me.
19 Nà méiyǒu gèng biàn , bù jìngwèi shén de rén , cóng taìgǔ cháng cún de shén , bì tīngjian ér kǔdaì tā .

God, who is enthroned from of old, who does not change— he will hear them and humble them, because they have no fear of God.
20 Tā bēi le yuē , shēnshǒu gōngjī yǔ tā héhǎo de rén .

My companion attacks his friends; he violates his covenant.
21 Tāde kǒu rú nǎi yóu guānghuá , tāde xīn què huái zhe zhēng zhàn . tāde huà bǐ yóu róu hé , qíshí shì bá chūlai de dāo .

His talk is smooth as butter, yet war is in his heart; his words are more soothing than oil, yet they are drawn swords.
22 Nǐ yào bǎ nǐde zhòngdàn xiè gĕi Yēhéhuá , tā bì fǔ yǎng nǐ , tā yǒng bù jiào yì rén dòng yáo .

Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken.
23 Shén a , nǐ bì shǐ è rén xià rù mièwáng de kēng . liú rén xuè xíng guǐzhà de rén , bì huó bù dào bàn shì , dàn wǒ yào yǐkào nǐ .

But you, God, will bring down the wicked into the pit of decay; the bloodthirsty and deceitful will not live out half their days. But as for me, I trust in you.
