1 Salmo 64<br />Para el director del coro: salmo de David.<br />Oh Dios, escucha mi queja;<br />protege mi vida de las amenazas de mis enemigos.

Hear me, my God, as I voice my complaint; protect my life from the threat of the enemy.
2 Escóndeme de las conspiraciones de esta turba malvada,<br />de esta pandilla de malhechores.

Hide me from the conspiracy of the wicked, from the plots of evildoers.
3 Afilan su lengua como espada<br />y apuntan como flechas sus palabras amargas.

They sharpen their tongues like swords and aim cruel words like deadly arrows.
4 Le tiran a los inocentes desde una emboscada,<br />los atacan de repente y sin temor.

They shoot from ambush at the innocent; they shoot suddenly, without fear.
5 Se animan unos a otros a hacer el mal<br />y maquinan cómo tender sus trampas en secreto.<br />«¿Quién se dará cuenta?», preguntan.

They encourage each other in evil plans, they talk about hiding their snares; they say, “Who will see it ?”
6 Dicen mientras traman sus delitos:<br />«¡Hemos orquestado el plan perfecto!».<br />Es cierto, el corazón y la mente del ser humano son astutos.

They plot injustice and say, “We have devised a perfect plan!” Surely the human mind and heart are cunning.
7 Pero Dios mismo les lanzará sus flechas<br />y los herirá de repente.

But God will shoot them with his arrows; they will suddenly be struck down.
8 Su propia lengua los arruinará,<br />y quienes los vean, menearán la cabeza en señal de desprecio.

He will turn their own tongues against them and bring them to ruin; all who see them will shake their heads in scorn.
9 Entonces todos temerán;<br />proclamarán los poderosos actos de Dios,<br />y se darán cuenta de todas las cosas asombrosas que él hace.

All people will fear; they will proclaim the works of God and ponder what he has done.
10 Los justos se alegrarán en el Señor<br />,<br />y en él encontrarán refugio.<br />Y los que hacen lo correcto<br />lo alabarán.

The righteous will rejoice in the LORDand take refuge in him; all the upright in heart will glory in him!
