NIV 2 Sing the glory of his name; make his praise glorious. NCV 3 Say to God, "Your works are amazing! Because your power is great, your enemies fall before you. NIV 3 Say to God, “How awesome are your deeds! So great is your power that your enemies cringe before you. NCV 4 All the earth worships you and sings praises to you. They sing praises to your name."Selah NIV 4 All the earth bows down to you; they sing praise to you, they sing the praises of your name.” NCV 5 Come and see what God has done, the amazing things he has done for people. NIV 5 Come and see what God has done, his awesome deeds for mankind! NCV 6 He turned the sea into dry land. The people crossed the river on foot. So let us rejoice because of what he did. NIV 6 He turned the sea into dry land, they passed through the waters on foot— come, let us rejoice in him. NCV 7 He rules forever with his power. He keeps his eye on the nations, so people should not turn against him.Selah NIV 7 He rules forever by his power, his eyes watch the nations— let not the rebellious rise up against him. NCV 8 You people, praise our God; loudly sing his praise. NIV 8 Praise our God, all peoples, let the sound of his praise be heard; NCV 9 He protects our lives and does not let us be defeated. NIV 9 he has preserved our lives and kept our feet from slipping. NCV 10 God, you have tested us; you have purified us like silver. NIV 10 For you, God, tested us; you refined us like silver. NCV 11 You let us be trapped and put a heavy load on us. NIV 11 You brought us into prison and laid burdens on our backs. NCV 12 You let our enemies walk on our heads. We went through fire and flood, but you brought us to a place with good things. NIV 12 You let people ride over our heads; we went through fire and water, but you brought us to a place of abundance. NCV 13 I will come to your Temple with burnt offerings. I will give you what I promised, NIV 13 I will come to your temple with burnt offerings and fulfill my vows to you— NCV 14 things I promised when I was in trouble. NIV 14 vows my lips promised and my mouth spoke when I was in trouble. NCV 15 I will bring you offerings of fat animals, and I will offer sheep, bulls, and goats.Selah NIV 15 I will sacrifice fat animals to you and an offering of rams; I will offer bulls and goats. NCV 16 All of you who fear God, come and listen, and I will tell you what he has done for me. NIV 16 Come and hear, all you who fear God; let me tell you what he has done for me. NCV 17 I cried out to him with my mouth and praised him with my tongue. NIV 17 I cried out to him with my mouth; his praise was on my tongue. NCV 18 If I had known of any sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened to me. NIV 18 If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened; NCV 19 But God has listened; he has heard my prayer. NIV 19 but God has surely listened and has heard my prayer. NCV 20 Praise God, who did not ignore my prayer or hold back his love from me. NIV 20 Praise be to God, who has not rejected my prayer or withheld his love from me!
