Psalm 77:8-18

RSVA 8 Has his steadfast love for ever ceased? Are his promises at an end for all time? NIV 8 Has his unfailing love vanished forever? Has his promise failed for all time? RSVA 9 Has God forgotten to be gracious? Has he in anger shut up his compassion?" [Selah] NIV 9 Has God forgotten to be merciful? Has he in anger withheld his compassion?” RSVA 10 And I say, "It is my grief that the right hand of the Most High has changed." NIV 10 Then I thought, “To this I will appeal: the years when the Most High stretched out his right hand. RSVA 11 I will call to mind the deeds of the LORD; yea, I will remember thy wonders of old. NIV 11 I will remember the deeds of the LORD; yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago. RSVA 12 I will meditate on all thy work, and muse on thy mighty deeds. NIV 12 I will consider all your works and meditate on all your mighty deeds.” RSVA 13 Thy way, O God, is holy. What god is great like our God? NIV 13 Your ways, God, are holy. What god is as great as our God? RSVA 14 Thou art the God who workest wonders, who hast manifested thy might among the peoples. NIV 14 You are the God who performs miracles; you display your power among the peoples. RSVA 15 Thou didst with thy arm redeem thy people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. [Selah] NIV 15 With your mighty arm you redeemed your people, the descendants of Jacob and Joseph. RSVA 16 When the waters saw thee, O God, when the waters saw thee, they were afraid, yea, the deep trembled. NIV 16 The waters saw you, God, the waters saw you and writhed; the very depths were convulsed. RSVA 17 The clouds poured out water; the skies gave forth thunder; thy arrows flashed on every side. NIV 17 The clouds poured down water, the heavens resounded with thunder; your arrows flashed back and forth. RSVA 18 The crash of thy thunder was in the whirlwind; thy lightnings lighted up the world; the earth trembled and shook. NIV 18 Your thunder was heard in the whirlwind, your lightning lit up the world; the earth trembled and quaked.
