Psalm 87

LEB 1 His foundation [is] on [the] holy mountains. NIV 1 He has founded his city on the holy mountain. LEB 2 Yahweh loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob. NIV 2 The LORD loves the gates of Zion more than all the other dwellings of Jacob. LEB 3 Glorious things [are] spoken about you, O city of God. Selah NIV 3 Glorious things are said of you, city of God: LEB 4 I will record those who know me [in] Rahab and Babylon, behold [in] Philistia and Tyre with Cush, "This one was born there." NIV 4 “I will record Rahab and Babylon among those who acknowledge me— Philistia too, and Tyre, along with Cush — and will say, ‘This one was born in Zion.’ ” LEB 5 But with respect to Zion it shall be said, "{Each one} was born in her," for the Most High himself will establish her. NIV 5 Indeed, of Zion it will be said, “This one and that one were born in her, and the Most High himself will establish her.” LEB 6 Yahweh will record in writing [the] peoples, "This [one] was born there." Selah NIV 6 The LORD will write in the register of the peoples: “This one was born in Zion.” LEB 7 And while dancing, singers [will sing], "All my springs [are] in you." NIV 7 As they make music they will sing, “All my fountains are in you.”
