1 ( shén rén Móxī de qídǎo ) zhǔ a , nǐ shì shìdaì daì zuò wǒmen de jū suǒ .

Lord, you have been our dwelling place throughout all generations.
2 Zhū shān wèicéng shēng chū , dì yǔ shìjiè nǐ wèicéng zàochéng , cóng gèn gǔ dào yǒngyuǎn , nǐ shì shén .

Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God.
3 Nǐ shǐ rén guīyú chéntǔ , shuō , nǐmen shìrén yào guī huí .

You turn people back to dust, saying, “Return to dust, you mortals.”
4 Zaì nǐ kàn lái , qiā nián rú yǐ guo de zuòrì , yòu rú yè jiān de yī gèng .

A thousand years in your sight are like a day that has just gone by, or like a watch in the night.
5 Nǐ jiāo tāmen rú shuǐ chōng qù . tāmen rú shuì yī jiào . zǎochen tāmen rú shēng zhǎng de cǎo .

Yet you sweep people away in the sleep of death— they are like the new grass of the morning:
6 Zǎochen fā yá shēng zhǎng , wǎnshang gē xià kū gān .

In the morning it springs up new, but by evening it is dry and withered.
7 Wǒmen yīn nǐde nùqì ér xiāomiè , yīn nǐde fèn nù ér jīng huáng .

We are consumed by your anger and terrified by your indignation.
8 Nǐ jiāng wǒmen de zuìniè bǎi zaì nǐ miànqián , jiāng wǒmen de yǐn è bǎi zaì nǐ miàn guāng zhī zhōng .

You have set our iniquities before you, our secret sins in the light of your presence.
9 Wǒmen jīngguò de rìzi , dōu zaì nǐ zhènnù zhī xià . wǒmen dù jìn de niánsuì hǎoxiàng yī shēng tànxī .

All our days pass away under your wrath; we finish our years with a moan.
10 Wǒmen yìshēng de nián rì shì qī shí suì . ruò shì qiángzhuàng kĕ dào bá shí suì . dàn qízhōng suǒ jīnkuā de , bú guo shì laókǔ chóu fán . zhuǎn yǎn chéng kōng , wǒmen biàn rú fēi ér qù .

Our days may come to seventy years, or eighty, if our strength endures; yet the best of them are but trouble and sorrow, for they quickly pass, and we fly away.

If only we knew the power of your anger! Your wrath is as great as the fear that is your due.

Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.
13 Yēhéhuá a , wǒmen yào dĕng dào jǐshí ne . qiú nǐ zhuǎn huí , wèi nǐde púrén hòuhuǐ .

Relent, LORD! How long will it be? Have compassion on your servants.
14 Qiú nǐ shǐ wǒmen zǎo zǎo bǎo dé nǐde cíaì , hǎo jiào wǒmen yìshēng yī shì huānhū xǐlè .

Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days.
15 Qiú nǐ zhào zhe nǐ shǐ wǒmen shòu kǔ de rìzi , hé wǒmen zāo nán de niánsuì , jiào wǒmen xǐlè .

Make us glad for as many days as you have afflicted us, for as many years as we have seen trouble.
16 Yuàn nǐde zuòwéi xiàng nǐ púrén xiǎnxiàn . yuàn nǐde róngyào xiàng tāmen zǐsūn xiǎnmíng .

May your deeds be shown to your servants, your splendor to their children.
17 Yuàn zhǔ wǒmen shén de róng mĕi , guīyǔ wǒmen shēnshang . yuàn nǐ jiān lì wǒmen shǒu suǒ zuò de gōng . wǒmen shǒu suǒ zuò de gōng , yuàn nǐ jiān lì .

May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us— yes, establish the work of our hands.
