1 Salmo 92<br />Salmo. Cántico para entonar el día de descanso.<br />Es bueno dar gracias al Señor<br />,<br />cantar alabanzas al Altísimo.

2 Es bueno proclamar por la mañana tu amor inagotable<br />y por la noche tu fidelidad,

3 al son del arpa de diez cuerdas<br />y de la melodía de la lira.

4 Todo lo que has hecho por mí, Señor<br />, ¡me emociona!<br />Canto de alegría por todo lo que has hecho.

5 ¡Oh Señor<br />, qué grandes son tus obras!<br />Y qué profundos son tus pensamientos.

6 Sólo un simplón no sabría<br />y un necio no entendería que

7 aunque los malvados broten como maleza<br />y los malhechores florezcan,<br />serán destruidos para siempre.

8 Tú, oh Señor<br />, para siempre serás exaltado.

9 Tus enemigos, Señor<br />, sin duda perecerán;<br />todos los malhechores quedarán esparcidos.

10 Pero tú me has hecho fuerte como un buey salvaje;<br />me has ungido con el mejor aceite.

11 Mis ojos vieron la caída de mis enemigos;<br />mis oídos escucharon la derrota de mis perversos oponentes.

12 Pero los justos florecerán como palmeras<br />y se harán fuertes como los cedros del Líbano;

13 trasplantados a la casa del Señor<br />,<br />florecen en los atrios de nuestro Dios.

14 Incluso en la vejez aún producirán fruto,<br />seguirán verdes y llenos de vitalidad.

15 Declararán: «¡El Señor<br /> es justo!<br />¡Es mi roca!<br />¡No existe maldad en él!».

1 It is good to praise the LORDand make music to your name, O Most High,

2 proclaiming your love in the morning and your faithfulness at night,

3 to the music of the ten-stringed lyre and the melody of the harp.

4 For you make me glad by your deeds, LORD; I sing for joy at what your hands have done.

5 How great are your works, LORD, how profound your thoughts!

6 Senseless people do not know, fools do not understand,

7 that though the wicked spring up like grass and all evildoers flourish, they will be destroyed forever.

8 But you, LORD, are forever exalted.

9 For surely your enemies, LORD, surely your enemies will perish; all evildoers will be scattered.

10 You have exalted my horn like that of a wild ox; fine oils have been poured on me.

11 My eyes have seen the defeat of my adversaries; my ears have heard the rout of my wicked foes.

12 The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon;

13 planted in the house of the LORD, they will flourish in the courts of our God.

14 They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green,

15 proclaiming, “The LORD is upright; he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him.”
