1 Como é bom render graças aoe cantar louvores ao teu nome, ó Altíssimo;

1 It is good to praise the LORDand make music to your name, O Most High,

2 anunciar de manhã o teu amor leale de noite a tua fidelidade,

2 proclaiming your love in the morning and your faithfulness at night,

3 ao som da lira de dez cordas e da cítara,e da melodia da harpa.

3 to the music of the ten-stringed lyre and the melody of the harp.

4 Tu me alegras, SENHOR, com os teus feitos;as obras das tuas mãos levam-me a cantar de alegria.

4 For you make me glad by your deeds, LORD; I sing for joy at what your hands have done.

5 Como são grandes as tuas obras, SENHOR,como são profundos os teus propósitos!

5 How great are your works, LORD, how profound your thoughts!

6 O insensato não entende, o tolo não vê

6 Senseless people do not know, fools do not understand,

7 que, embora os ímpios brotem como a ervae floresçam todos os malfeitores,eles serão destruídos para sempre.

7 that though the wicked spring up like grass and all evildoers flourish, they will be destroyed forever.

8 Pois tu, SENHOR, és exaltado para sempre.

8 But you, LORD, are forever exalted.

9 Mas os teus inimigos, SENHOR,os teus inimigos perecerão;serão dispersos todos os malfeitores!

9 For surely your enemies, LORD, surely your enemies will perish; all evildoers will be scattered.

10 Tu aumentaste a minha força como a do boi selvagem;derramaste sobre mim óleo novo.

10 You have exalted my horn like that of a wild ox; fine oils have been poured on me.

11 Os meus olhos contemplaram a derrotados meus inimigos;os meus ouvidos escutaram a debandadados meus maldosos agressores.

11 My eyes have seen the defeat of my adversaries; my ears have heard the rout of my wicked foes.

12 Os justos florescerão como a palmeira,crescerão como o cedro do Líbano;

12 The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon;

13 plantados na casa do SENHOR,florescerão nos átrios do nosso Deus.

13 planted in the house of the LORD, they will flourish in the courts of our God.

14 Mesmo na velhice darão fruto,permanecerão viçosos e verdejantes,

14 They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green,

15 para proclamar que o SENHOR é justo.Ele é a minha Rocha; nele não há injustiça.

15 proclaiming, “The LORD is upright; he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him.”
