1 Wǒ yòu kànjian Lìng yǒu yī wèi dàlì de tiānshǐ , cóng tiān jiàng xià , pī zhe yúncai , tóu shàng yǒu hóng . liǎnmiàn xiàng rìtou , liǎng jiǎo xiàng huǒ zhù .

Then I saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven. He was robed in a cloud, with a rainbow above his head; his face was like the sun, and his legs were like fiery pillars.
2 Tā shǒu lǐ ná zhe xiǎo shū juàn shì zhǎn kāi de . tā yòng yòu jiǎo tà hǎi , zuǒ jiǎo tà dì .

He was holding a little scroll, which lay open in his hand. He planted his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land,
3 Dàshēng hūhǎn , hǎoxiàng shīzi hǒu jiào , hūhǎn wán le , jiù yǒu qī léi fā shēng .

and he gave a loud shout like the roar of a lion. When he shouted, the voices of the seven thunders spoke.
4 Qī léi fā shēng zhī hòu , wǒ zhèng yào xiĕ chūlai , jiù tīngjian cóng tiān shàng yǒu shēngyīn shuō , qī léi suǒ shuō de nǐ yào fēng shàng , bùkĕ xiĕ chūlai .

And when the seven thunders spoke, I was about to write; but I heard a voice from heaven say, “Seal up what the seven thunders have said and do not write it down.”
5 Wǒ suǒ kànjian de nà tā hǎi tā dì de tiānshǐ , xiàng tiān jǔqǐ yòushǒu lái ,

Then the angel I had seen standing on the sea and on the land raised his right hand to heaven.
6 Zhǐ zhe nà chuàngzào tiān hé tiān shàng zhī wù , dì hé dì shàng zhī wù , hǎi hé hǎi zhòng zhī wù , zhí huó dào yǒng yǒngyuǎn yuǎn de , qǐshì shuō , bú zaì yǒu shí rì le . ( huò zuò bù zaì dān yán le )

And he swore by him who lives for ever and ever, who created the heavens and all that is in them, the earth and all that is in it, and the sea and all that is in it, and said, “There will be no more delay!
7 Dàn zaì dì qī wèi tiānshǐ chuīhào fā shēng de shíhou , shén de àomì , jiù chéngquán le , zhèng rú shén suǒ chuán gĕi tā púrén zhòng xiānzhī de jiā yīn .

But in the days when the seventh angel is about to sound his trumpet, the mystery of God will be accomplished, just as he announced to his servants the prophets.”
8 Wǒ xiānqián cóng tiān shàng suǒ tīngjian de nà shēngyīn , yòu fēnfu wǒ shuō , nǐ qù bǎ nà tā hǎi tā dì zhī tiānshǐ shǒu zhōng zhǎn kāi de xiǎo shū juàn qǔ guò lái .

Then the voice that I had heard from heaven spoke to me once more: “Go, take the scroll that lies open in the hand of the angel who is standing on the sea and on the land.”
9 Wǒ jiù zǒu dào tiānshǐ nàli , duì tā shuō , qǐng nǐ bǎ xiǎo shū juàn gĕi wǒ . tā duì wǒ shuō , nǐ ná zhe chī jìn le , biàn jiào nǐ dùzi fā kǔ , ránér zaì nǐ kǒu zhōng yào tián rú mì .

So I went to the angel and asked him to give me the little scroll. He said to me, “Take it and eat it. It will turn your stomach sour, but ‘in your mouth it will be as sweet as honey.’ ”
10 Wǒ cóng tiānshǐ shǒu zhōng ba xiǎo shū juàn jiē guò lái , chī jìn le . zaì wǒ kǒu zhōng guǒrán tián rú mì . chī le yǐhòu , dùzi juéde fā kǔ le .

I took the little scroll from the angel’s hand and ate it. It tasted as sweet as honey in my mouth, but when I had eaten it, my stomach turned sour.
11 Tiānshǐ ( yuánwén zuò tāmen ) duì wǒ shuō , nǐ bì zhǐ zhe duō mín duō guó duō fāng duō wáng shuō yùyán .

Then I was told, “You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, languages and kings.”
