Romans 10:8-13

CEB 8 But what does it say? The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart (that is, the message of faith that we preach). NRS 8 But what does it say? "The word is near you, on your lips and in your heart" (that is, the word of faith that we proclaim); CEB 9 Because if you confess with your mouth "Jesus is Lord" and in your heart you have faith that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. NRS 9 because if you confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. CEB 10 Trusting with the heart leads to righteousness, and confessing with the mouth leads to salvation. NRS 10 For one believes with the heart and so is justified, and one confesses with the mouth and so is saved. CEB 11 The scripture says, All who have faith in him won't be put to shame. NRS 11 The scripture says, "No one who believes in him will be put to shame." CEB 12 There is no distinction between Jew and Greek, because the same Lord is Lord of all, who gives richly to all who call on him. NRS 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; the same Lord is Lord of all and is generous to all who call on him. CEB 13 All who call on the Lord's name will be saved. NRS 13 For, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved."
