1 Wǒmen jì yīn xìn chēng yì , jiù jiè zhe wǒmen de zhǔ Yēsū Jīdū , dé yǔ shén xiāng hé .

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
2 Wǒmen yòu jiè zhe tā , yīn xìn dé jìnrù xiànzaì suǒ zhàn de ēndiǎn zhòng , bìngqiĕ huān huānxǐ xǐ pànwàng shén de róngyào .

through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God.
3 Búdàn rúcǐ , jiù shì zaì huànnàn zhòng , yĕ shì huān huānxǐ xǐ de . yīnwei zhīdào huànnàn shēng rĕnnaì .

Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance;
4 Rĕnnaì shēng lǎo liàn . lǎo liàn shēng pànwàng .

perseverance, character; and character, hope.
5 Pànwàng búzhìyú xiūchǐ , yīnwei suǒ cìgĕi wǒmen de Shènglíng jiāng shén de aì jiāo guàn zaì wǒmen xīnli .

And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.
6 Yīn wǒmen hái ruǎnfuò de shíhou , Jīdū jiù àn suǒ déng de rìqī wéi zuì rén sǐ .

You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly.
7 Wéi yì rén sǐ , shì shǎo yǒude , wéi rén rén sǐ , huòzhĕ yǒu gǎn zuò de .

Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die.
8 Wéiyǒu Jīdū zaì wǒmen hái zuò zuì rén de shíhou wéi wǒmen sǐ , shén de aì jiù zaì cǐ xiàng wǒmen xiǎnmíng le .

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
9 Xiànzaì wǒmen jì kào zhe tāde xuè chēng yì , jiù gèng yào jiè zhe tā miǎn qù shén de fèn nù .

Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him!
10 Yīnwei wǒmen zuò chóudí de shíhou , qiĕ jiè zhe shén érzi de sǐ , dé yǔ shén héhǎo , jì yǐ héhǎo , jiù gēng yào yīn tāde shēng déjiù le .

For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!
11 Búdàn rúcǐ , wǒmen jì jiè zhe wǒ zhǔ Yēsū Jīdū , dé yǔ shén héhǎo , yĕ jiù jiè zhe tā , yǐ shén wéi lè .

Not only is this so, but we also boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.
12 Zhè jiù rú zuì shì cóng yī rén rù le shìjiè , sǐ yòu shì cóng zuì lái de , yúshì sǐ jiù líndào zhòngrén , yīnwei zhòngrén dōu fàn le zuì .

Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned—
13 Méiyǒu lǜfǎ zhī xiān , zuì yǐjing zaì shìshang . dàn méiyǒu lǜfǎ , zuì yĕ bú suàn zuì .

To be sure, sin was in the world before the law was given, but sin is not charged against anyone’s account where there is no law.
14 Ránér cóng Yàdāng dào Móxī , sǐ jiù zuò le wáng , lián nàxiē bú yǔ Yàdāng fàn yíyàng zuì guō de , yĕ zaì tāde quán xià . Yàdāng nǎi shì nà yǐhòu yào lái zhī rén de yù xiàng .

Nevertheless, death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, even over those who did not sin by breaking a command, as did Adam, who is a pattern of the one to come.
15 Zhǐshì guō fàn bú rú ēncì . ruò yīn yī rén de guō fàn , zhòngrén dōu sǐ le , hékuàng shén de ēndiǎn , yǔ nà yīn Yēsū Jīdū yī rén ēndiǎn zhòng de shǎngcì , qǐbù gèngjiā beì de líndào zhòngrén má .

But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man, how much more did God’s grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many!
16 Yīn yī rén fàn zuì jiù dìng zuì , yĕ bú rú ēncì . yuánlái shĕnpàn shì yóu yī rén ér dìng zuì , ēncì nǎi shì yóu xǔduō guò fàn ér chēng yì .

Nor can the gift of God be compared with the result of one man’s sin: The judgment followed one sin and brought condemnation, but the gift followed many trespasses and brought justification.
17 Ruò yīn yī rén de guō fàn , sǐ jiù yīn zhè yī rén zuò le wáng , hékuàng nàxiē shòu hóng ēn yòu mĕng suǒ cì zhī yì de , qǐbù gēng yào yīn Yēsū Jīdū yī rén zaì shēngmìng zhòng zuò wáng má .

For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ!
18 Rúcǐ shuō lái , yīn yī cì de guō fàn , zhòngrén dōu beì dìng zuì , zhàoyàng , yīn yī cì de yì xíng , zhòngrén yĕ jiù beì chēng yì dé shēngmìng le .

Consequently, just as one trespass resulted in condemnation for all people, so also one righteous act resulted in justification and life for all people.
19 Yīn yī rén de beìnì , zhòngrén chéngwéi zuì rén , zhàoyàng , yīn yī rén de shùncóng , zhòngrén yĕ chéngwéi yì le .

For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.
20 Lǜfǎ bĕn shì waì tiān de , jiào guō fàn xiǎn duō . zhǐshì zuì zaì nàli xiǎn duō , ēndiǎn jiù gèng xiǎn duō le .

The law was brought in so that the trespass might increase. But where sin increased, grace increased all the more,
21 Jiù rú zuì zuò wáng jiào rén sǐ , zhàoyàng ēndiǎn yĕ jiè zhe yì zuò wáng , jiào rén yīn wǒmen de zhǔ Yēsū Jīdū dé yǒngshēng .

so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
