1 Crónicas 9:1-8

1 Todo Israel fue inscrito por genealogías; y he aquí, están escritos en el libro de los reyes de Israel. Y Judá fue llevado al destierro a Babilonia por su infidelidad.

2 Los primeros que habitaron en sus posesiones en sus ciudades fueron Israel, los sacerdotes, los levitas y los sirvientes del templo.

3 Algunos de los hijos de Judá, de los hijos de Benjamín, y de los hijos de Efraín y Manasés habitaron en Jerusalén:

5 De los silonitas: Asaías el primogénito, y sus hijos.

6 De los hijos de Zera: Jeuel y sus parientes: seiscientos noventa de ellos.

7 De los hijos de Benjamín: Salú, hijo de Mesulam, hijo de Hodavías, hijo de Asenúa,

8 e Ibneías, hijo de Jeroham, y Ela, hijo de Uzi, hijo de Micri, y Mesulam, hijo de Sefatías, hijo de Reuel, hijo de Ibnías;

The genealogies of the several tribes being given, according as they were written in the books of the kings of Israel, 1Ch 9:1, an account follows of those who first settled in Jerusalem after their return from the Babylonish captivity; of the Israelites, 1Ch 9:2-9, of the priests, 1Ch 9:10-13 of the Levites, and of the charge and offices of several of the priests and Levites, 1Ch 9:14-34, and the chapter is concluded with a repetition of the genealogy of the ancestors and posterity of Saul king of Israel, 1Ch 9:35-44.
