ThenAgrippasaiduntoFestus, I wouldalsohear the manmyself. To morrow*, said he, thou shalt hearhim.

And on the morrow,whenAgrippa was come , andBernice,withgreatpomp,and was enteredinto the place of hearing,withthe chief captains,andprincipal*menof the city,atFestus'commandmentPaul was brought forth .

AndFestussaid , KingAgrippa,andallmenwhich are here present with us, ye see this man,aboutwhomall the multitude of the Jews have dealt with me,bothatJerusalem,and also here,crying that he oughtnot to live any longer.

But when Ifound that he had committednothingworthy of death,andthat he himself hath appealedtoAugustus, I have determined to sendhim.

Ofwhom I havenocertainthing to write unto my lord.Wherefore I have broughthimforthbeforeyou,andspeciallybeforethee, O kingAgrippa,that, after examinationhad , I might havesomewhat to write .

For it seemeth to meunreasonable to send a prisoner,and not withal to signify the crimes laid againsthim.
