Esdras 2:63-70

63 Y el Tirsata les dijo que no comieran de las cosas santísimas, hasta que hubiera sacerdote con Urim y Tumim

64 Toda la congregación, unida como un varón, era de cuarenta y dos mil trescientos sesenta

65 sin sus siervos y siervas, los cuales eran siete mil trescientos treinta y siete; y tenían doscientos cantores y cantoras

66 Sus caballos eran setecientos treinta y seis; sus mulos, doscientos cuarenta y cinco

67 sus camellos, cuatrocientos treinta y cinco; asnos, seis mil setecientos veinte

68 Y algunos de las cabezas de los padres, cuando vinieron a la Casa del SEÑOR la cual estaba en Jerusalén, ofrecieron voluntariamente para la Casa de Dios, para levantarla en su asiento

69 Según sus fuerzas dieron al tesorero de la obra sesenta y un mil dracmas de oro, y cinco mil libras de plata, y cien túnicas sacerdotales

70 Y habitaron los sacerdotes, y los levitas, y los del pueblo, y los cantores, y los porteros y los netineos, en sus ciudades; y todo Israel en sus ciudades

INTRODUCTION TO EZRA 2

This chapter contains a list of those that went up from Babylon to Jerusalem, of their leaders, their chief men, princes and priests, Ezr 2:1,2 of the people, described by their families, towns, and cities, and number of persons, Ezr 2:3-35, of the priests, Levites, and Nethinims, Ezr 2:36-58, and of those that could not make out their genealogy, people and priests, Ezr 2:59-63, and then the sum total of the whole congregation is given, Ezr 2:64, besides men and maidservants, singing men and women, and cattle of divers sorts, Ezr 2:65-67, and the chapter is closed with an account of the freewill offerings of the principal men towards the building of the temple, and of the settlement of the people in their respective cities, Ezr 2:68-70.
