And they that did eat of the loaveswereabout five thousandmen.

Andstraightway he constrainedhisdisciples to getinto the ship,and to goto the other sidebeforeuntoBethsaida,whilehe sent away the people.

And when he had sentthemaway , he departedinto a mountain to pray .

And when even was come , the shipwasin the midst of the sea,andhealoneon the land.

And he sawthemtoilinginrowing ; for the windwascontrary unto them:andabout the fourthwatch of the night he comethuntothem,walkingupon the sea,andwould have passed bythem.

But when they sawhimwalkingupon the sea, they supposed it had been a spirit,and cried out :

For they allsawhim,and were troubled . Andimmediately he talkedwiththem,andsaith unto them,Be of good cheer : it isI;benotafraid .

And he went upuntotheminto the ship;and the windceased : and they were soreamazedinthemselvesbeyondmeasure,andwondered .

For they considerednot the miracle of the loaves:fortheirheartwashardened .

And when they had passed over , they cameinto the land of Gennesaret,and drew to the shore .

And when they were come out of the ship,straightway they knewhim,
