And he answered and toldthem,Eliasverilycomethfirst, and restoreth all things;andhow it is writtenof the Son of man,that he must suffer many things,and be set at nought .

But I say unto you,ThatEliasisindeedcome , and they have done unto himwhatsoever they listed , as it is writtenofhim.

And when he cameto his disciples, he saw a greatmultitudeaboutthem,and the scribesquestioning with them.

Andstraightwayall the people, when they beheldhim, were greatly amazed , and running to him salutedhim.

And he asked the scribes,What question yewiththem ?

Andoneof the multitudeanswered and said , Master, I have broughtuntotheemyson, which hath a dumbspirit;

Andwheresoeverhetakethhim, he tearethhim:and he foameth , andgnasheth with histeeth,and pineth away : and I spake to thydisciplesthat they should casthimout ; and they couldnot.

He answerethhim,andsaith , Ofaithlessgeneration, how longshall I bewithyou? how longshall I sufferyou?bringhimuntome.

And they broughthimuntohim:and when he sawhim,straightway the spirittarehim;and he fellon the ground, and wallowedfoaming .

And he askedhisfather,How long is itagosincethiscame unto him?And he said , Of a child.

Andofttimes it hath casthimintothefire,andinto the waters,todestroyhim:butif thou canst do any thing, have compassiononus, and helpus.
