Anotherparable spake he unto them;The kingdom of heavenislike unto leaven,which a womantook , and hidinthreemeasures of meal,till the wholewasleavened .

All these thingsspakeJesus unto the multitudeinparables;andwithout a parable spake henot unto them:

That it might be fulfilledwhich was spokenby the prophet,saying , I will openmymouthinparables; I will utter things which have been kept secretfrom the foundation of the world.

ThenJesussent the multitudeaway , and wentinto the house:andhisdisciplescame unto him,saying , Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.

He answeredandsaid unto them,He that soweth the goodseedis the Son of man;

Thefieldis the world* ; the goodseedare* the children of the kingdom;but the taresare the children of the wicked one;

Theenemy that sowedthemis the devil* ; the harvestis the end of the world;and the reapersare the angels.

Astherefore the tares are gatheredandburned in the fire;so shall it bein the end of thisworld.

The Son of man shall send forthhisangels,and they shall gather out ofhiskingdom all things that offend,and them which doiniquity;
42
And shall casttheminto a furnace of fire:there shall bewailingandgnashing of teeth.
