We accept man's testimony,1 but God's testimony is greater because it is the testimony of God,2 which he has given about his Son.
Anyone who believes in the Son of God has this testimony in his heart.3 Anyone who does not believe God has made him out to be a liar,4 because he has not believed the testimony God has given about his Son.
And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life,5 and this life is in his Son.612

All wrongdoing is sin,17 and there is sin that does not lead to death.1818
We know that anyone born of God19 does not continue to sin; the one who was born of God keeps him safe, and the evil one20 cannot harm him.21
