18 Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. 7 For I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that. 25 Now concerning virgins I have no commandment of the Lord: yet I give my judgment, as one that hath obtained mercy of the Lord to be faithful. 26 I suppose therefore that this is good for the present distress, I say, that it is good for a man so to be . 32 But I would have you without carefulness. He that is unmarried careth for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord: 6 Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted . 16 But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God. 19 For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you. 23 And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness. 37 If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.
