6 The LORD called yet again, "Samuel!" So Samuel arose and went to Eli and said, "Here I am, for you called me." But he answered, "I did not call, my son, lie down again." 8 So the LORD called Samuel again for the third time. And he arose and went to Eli and said, "Here I am, for you called me." Then Eli discerned that the LORD was calling the boy. 17 He said, "What is the word that He spoke to you? Please do not hide it from me. May God do so to you, and more also, if you hide anything from me of all the words that He spoke to you." 21 And the LORD appeared again at Shiloh, because the LORD revealed Himself to Samuel at Shiloh by the word of the LORD . 13 So the Philistines were subdued and they did not come anymore within the border of Israel. And the hand of the LORD was against the Philistines all the days of Samuel. 8 The servant answered Saul again and said, "Behold, I have in my hand a fourth of a shekel of silver; I will give it to the man of God and he will tell us our way." 19 Then all the people said to Samuel, "Pray for your servants to the LORD your God, so that we may not die, for we have added to all our sins this evil by asking for ourselves a king." 44 Saul said, "May God do this to me and more also, for you shall surely die, Jonathan." 35 Samuel did not see Saul again until the day of his death; for Samuel grieved over Saul. And the LORD regretted that He had made Saul king over Israel. 29 then Saul was even more afraid of David. Thus Saul was David's enemy continually . 8 When there was war again, David went out and fought with the Philistines and defeated them with great slaughter, so that they fled before him. 21 When it was told Saul, he sent other messengers, and they also prophesied. So Saul sent messengers again the third time, and they also prophesied. 13 "If it please my father to do you harm, may the LORD do so to Jonathan and more also, if I do not make it known to you and send you away, that you may go in safety. And may the LORD be with you as He has been with my father. 17 Jonathan made David vow again because of his love for him, because he loved him as he loved his own life. 4 Then David inquired of the LORD once more . And the LORD answered him and said, "Arise, go down to Keilah, for I will give the Philistines into your hand. 22 "May God do so to the enemies of David, and more also, if by morning I leave as much as one male of any who belong to him." 4 Now it was told Saul that David had fled to Gath, so he no longer searched for him.
