We have spoken freely to you, Corinthians, and opened wide our hearts to you.1

We are not withholding our affection from you, but you are withholding yours from us.

As a fair exchange--I speak as to my children2--open wide your hearts3 also.
Do Not Be Yoked With Unbelievers
14 Do not be yoked together4 with unbelievers.5 For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?6 15 What harmony is there between Christ and Beliala ?7 What does a believer8 have in common with an unbeliever?9 16 What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols?10 For we are the temple11 of the living God.12 As God has said: "I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people."b13 17 "Therefore come out from them14 and be separate, says the Lord.
