2 Chronicles 6:10; 2 Chronicles 6:16; 2 Chronicles 7:18; 2 Chronicles 9:8; 2 Chronicles 9:17-18; 2 Chronicles 18:9; 2 Chronicles 18:18; 2 Chronicles 23:20 (King James Version)

10 The LORD therefore hath performed his word that he hath spoken : for I am risen up in the room of David my father, and am set on the throne of Israel, as the LORD promised , and have built the house for the name of the LORD God of Israel. 16 Now therefore, O LORD God of Israel, keep with thy servant David my father that which thou hast promised him, saying , There shall not fail thee a man in my sight to sit upon the throne of Israel; yet so that thy children take heed to their way to walk in my law, as thou hast walked before me. 18 Then will I stablish the throne of thy kingdom, according as I have covenanted with David thy father, saying , There shall not fail thee a man to be ruler in Israel. 8 Blessed be the LORD thy God, which delighted in thee to set thee on his throne, to be king for the LORD thy God: because thy God loved Israel, to establish them for ever, therefore made he thee king over them, to do judgment and justice. 17 Moreover the king made a great throne of ivory, and overlaid it with pure gold. 18 And there were six steps to the throne, with a footstool of gold, which were fastened to the throne, and stays on each side of the sitting place, and two lions standing by the stays: 9 And the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat king of Judah sat either of them on his throne, clothed in their robes, and they sat in a void place at the entering in of the gate of Samaria; and all the prophets prophesied before them. 18 Again he said , Therefore hear the word of the LORD; I saw the LORD sitting upon his throne, and all the host of heaven standing on his right hand and on his left. 20 And he took the captains of hundreds, and the nobles, and the governors of the people, and all the people of the land, and brought down the king from the house of the LORD: and they came through the high gate into the king's house, and set the king upon the throne of the kingdom.
