2 Chronicles 6:26; 2 Chronicles 7:13; 2 Chronicles 13:20; 2 Chronicles 14:11; 2 Chronicles 20:37; 2 Chronicles 22:9 (King James Version)

26 When the heaven is shut up , and there is no rain, because they have sinned against thee; yet if they pray toward this place, and confess thy name, and turn from their sin, when thou dost afflict them; 13 If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; 20 Neither did Jeroboam recover strength again in the days of Abijah: and the LORD struck him, and he died . 11 And Asa cried unto the LORD his God, and said , LORD, it is nothing with thee to help , whether with many, or with them that have no power: help us, O LORD our God; for we rest on thee, and in thy name we go against this multitude. O LORD, thou art our God; let not man prevail against thee. 37 Then Eliezer the son of Dodavah of Mareshah prophesied against Jehoshaphat, saying , Because thou hast joined thyself with Ahaziah, the LORD hath broken thy works. And the ships were broken , that they were not able to go to Tarshish. 9 And he sought Ahaziah: and they caught him, (for he was hid in Samaria,) and brought him to Jehu: and when they had slain him, they buried him: Because, said they, he is the son of Jehoshaphat, who sought the LORD with all his heart. So the house of Ahaziah had no power to keep still the kingdom.
