And unto David were sons born in Hebron: and his firstborn was Amnon, of Ahinoam the Jezreelitess;
And the sixth, Ithream, by Eglah David's wife. These were born to David in Hebron.
And David took him more concubines and wives out of Jerusalem, after he was come from Hebron: and there were yet sons and daughters born to David.
And when the mourning was past , David sent and fetched her to his house, and she became his wife, and bare him a son. But the thing that David had done displeased the LORD.
And Nathan departed unto his house. And the LORD struck the child that Uriah's wife bare unto David, and it was very sick .
And David comforted Bathsheba his wife, and went in unto her, and lay with her: and she bare a son, and he called his name Solomon: and the LORD loved him.
And unto Absalom there were born three sons, and one daughter, whose name was Tamar: she was a woman of a fair countenance.
But the king took the two sons of Rizpah the daughter of Aiah, whom she bare unto Saul, Armoni and Mephibosheth; and the five sons of Michal the daughter of Saul, whom she brought up for Adriel the son of Barzillai the Meholathite:
And there was yet a battle in Gath, where was a man of great stature , that had on every hand six fingers, and on every foot six toes, four and twenty in number; and he also was born to the giant.
These four were born to the giant in Gath, and fell by the hand of David, and by the hand of his servants.
