Then I setaparttwelve of the leadingpriests, 1Sherebiah, Hashabiah, and with them ten of their brothers;
and I 2weighed out to them 3the silver, the gold and the utensils, the offering for the house of our God which the king and 4his counselors and his princes and allIsraelpresent there had offered.
265Thus I weighed into their hands650talents of silver, and silverutensils worth 100talents, and 100goldtalents,
and 20goldbowls worth 1,000darics, and twoutensils of fineshinybronze, precious as gold.
Then I said to them, "6You are holy to the LORD, and the 7utensils are holy; and the silver and the gold are a freewilloffering to the LORDGod of your fathers.
29"Watch and keep them 8until you weigh them before the leadingpriests, the Levites and the heads of the fathers' households of Israel at Jerusalem, in the chambers of the house of the LORD."
