17And he came downwiththem, and stoodin the plain , and the company of hisdisciples, and a greatmultitude of people out ofallJudaeaandJerusalem, and from the sea coast of TyreandSidon, whichcame to hearhim, and to be healedoftheirdiseases;18And they that were vexedwithuncleanspirits:and they were healed .
19And the wholemultitudesought to touchhim:for there wentvirtueout of him, andhealed them all.20Andhe lifted uphiseyesonhisdisciples, and said , Blessed be ye poor:foryoursis the kingdom of God.21Blessed are ye that hungernow:for ye shall be filled . Blessed are ye that weepnow:for ye shall laugh .22Blessed are ye , whenmen shall hateyou, andwhen they shall separateyou from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast outyournameasevil, for the Son of man'ssake.23Rejoice yeinthatday, and leap for joy : for, behold , yourreward is greatinheaven:forin the like mannerdidtheirfathers unto the prophets.24Butwoe unto you that are rich!for ye have receivedyourconsolation.25Woe unto you that are full ! for ye shall hunger . Woe unto you that laughnow!for ye shall mournandweep .26Woe unto you, whenallmen shall speakwell of you!forsodidtheirfathers to the false prophets.27But I say unto youwhichhear , Loveyourenemies, dogood to them whichhateyou,28Bless them that curseyou, andprayfor them which despitefully useyou.29And unto him that smiteththeeon the one cheekofferalso the other;andhim that taketh awaythyclokeforbidnot to take thy coatalso.30Give to every man that asketh of thee;andof him that taketh away thy goodsask them notagain .31Andas ye wouldthatmen should do to you, doyealso to themlikewise.32Forif ye love them which loveyou, whatthankhaveye?forsinnersalsolove those that lovethem.33Andif ye do good to them which do good to you, whatthankhaveye?forsinners also doeven the same.34Andif ye lend to them ofwhom ye hope to receive , whatthankhaveye?forsinnersalsolend to sinners, toreceive as muchagain .35But love yeyourenemies, and do good , andlend , hoping for nothingagain ; andyourreward shall begreat, and ye shall be the children of the Highest:forheiskindunto the unthankfuland to the evil.36Be yethereforemerciful,asyourFatheralsoismerciful.37Judgenot,and ye shallnot be judged : condemnnot, and ye shallnot be condemned : forgive , and ye shall be forgiven :38Give , and it shall be given unto you;goodmeasure, pressed down , and shaken together , and running over , shall men giveintoyourbosom. For with the samemeasurethat ye mete withal it shall be measured to youagain .39And he spake a parable unto them , Can the blindlead the blind? shall theynotbothfallinto the ditch?40The discipleisnotabovehismaster:but every one that is perfect shall beashismaster.41Andwhy beholdest thou the mote that is inthybrother'seye, butperceivestnot the beam that is in thine owneye?42Eitherhow canst thousay to thybrother,Brother, let me pull out the mote that is inthineeye, when thouthyselfbeholdestnot the beam that is inthine own eye? Thou hypocrite, cast outfirst the beam out of thine owneye, andthen shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is inthybrother'seye.43For a goodtreebringethnotforthcorruptfruit;neitherdoth a corrupttree bring forthgoodfruit.44Foreverytree is knownby his ownfruit.Forofthorns men do notgatherfigs, norof a bramble bush gather theygrapes.a45A goodman out of the goodtreasure of hisheart bringeth forth that which is good;and an evilman out of the eviltreasure of hisheart bringeth forth that which is evil:forof the abundance of the hearthismouthspeaketh .46Andwhy call yeme,Lord,Lord, anddonot the things which I say ?47Whosoevercomethtome,andhearethmysayings,anddoeththem, I will shewyou to whom he islike:48He islike a manwhichbuilt an house, anddiggeddeep , andlaid the foundationon a rock:and when the floodarose , the stream beat vehemently upon thathouse, andcouldnotshakeit:for it was founded upon a rock.49But he that heareth , anddoethnot, islike a man that without a foundationbuilt an houseupon the earth;againstwhich the stream did beat vehemently , andimmediately it fell ; and the ruin of thathousewasgreat.
