1Andwhen they came nightoJerusalem, untoBethphageandBethany,at the mount of Olives, he sendeth forthtwo of hisdisciples,2Andsaith unto them,Go your wayinto the village over againstyou:and as soon as ye be enteredintoit, ye shall find a colttied , whereonnevermansat ; loosehim, and bring him.3Andif any mansay unto you,Why do yethis? say yethat the Lordhathneed of him;andstraightway he will sendhimhither.4And they went their way , andfound the colttiedby the doorwithoutin a place where two ways met;and they loosehim.5And certain of them that stoodtheresaid unto them,What do ye , loosing the colt?6And they said unto them even asJesus had commanded : and they letthemgo .
7And they brought the colttoJesus,andcasttheirgarmentsonhim;and he satuponhim.8Andmanyspreadtheirgarmentsin the way:andothers cut downbranchesoff the trees,andstrawed them in the way.9And they that went before , and they that followed , cried , saying , Hosanna;Blessed is he that comethin the name of the Lord:10Blessed be the kingdom of ourfatherDavid, that comethin the name of the Lord:Hosannain the highest.11AndJesusenteredintoJerusalem,andinto the temple:and when he had looked round about upon all things, and now the eventidewascome , he went outuntoBethanywith the twelve.
