1Hearnowwhat the LORD is saying, "Arise, plead your caseabefore the mountains, And let the hillshear your voice.
2"Listen, you mountains, to the indictment of the LORD, And you enduring1foundations of the earth, Because the 2LORD has a caseagainst His people; Even with Israel He will dispute.
"3My people, 4what have I done to you, And 5how have I wearied you? Answer Me.
4"Indeed, I 6brought you up from the land of Egypt And 7ransomed you from the house of slavery, And I sentbefore you 8Moses, Aaron and 9Miriam.
"My people, remembernowWhat10Balakking of Moabcounseled And whatBalaamson of Beoranswered him, And from 11Shittim to 12Gilgal, Sobthat you might know the 13righteousacts of the LORD."
614With what shall I come to the LORD And bow myself before the God on high? Shall I come to Him with 15burntofferings, With yearlingcalves?
Does the LORDtakedelight in 16thousands of rams, In tenthousandrivers of oil? Shall I present my 17firstborn for my rebelliousacts, The fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?
He has 18told you, O man, what is good; And 19what does the LORDrequire of you But to 20dojustice, to 21loveckindness, And to walkd22humbly with your God?
