so that you may eat the flesh of kings, generals, and mighty men, of horses and their riders, and the flesh of all people,1 free and slave,2 small and great."319
Then I saw the beast4 and the kings of the earth5 and their armies gathered together to make war against the rider on the horse6 and his army.
But the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet7 who had performed the miraculous signs8 on his behalf.9 With these signs he had deluded10 those who had received the mark of the beast11 and worshiped his image.12 The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake13 of burning sulfur.1421
The rest of them were killed with the sword15 that came out of the mouth of the rider on the horse,16 and all the birds17 gorged themselves on their flesh.
