On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives,3 east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split4 in two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half of the mountain moving north and half moving south.
You will flee by my mountain valley, for it will extend to Azel. You will flee as you fled from the earthquakea5 in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the LORD my God will come,6 and all the holy ones with him.76
On that day there will be no light,8 no cold or frost.
It will be a unique9 day, without daytime or nighttime10--a day known to the LORD. When evening comes, there will be light.118
On that day living water12 will flow13 out from Jerusalem, half to the eastern14 seab and half to the western sea,c in summer and in winter.159
The LORD will be king16 over the whole earth.17 On that day there will be one LORD, and his name the only name.1810
The whole land, from Geba19 to Rimmon,20 south of Jerusalem, will become like the Arabah. But Jerusalem will be raised up21 and remain in its place,22 from the Benjamin Gate23 to the site of the First Gate, to the Corner Gate,24 and from the Tower of Hananel25 to the royal winepresses.
It will be inhabited;26 never again will it be destroyed. Jerusalem will be secure.27
