12 Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day's journey . 8 Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel, 26 Then went the captain with the officers, and brought them without violence: for they feared the people, lest they should have been stoned . 11 Then they suborned men, which said , We have heard him speak blasphemous words against Moses, and against God. 4 Then came he out of the land of the Chaldaeans, and dwelt in Charran: and from thence, when his father was dead , he removed him into this land, wherein ye now dwell . 17 Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost. 46 For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter, 48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days. 3 And when they had fasted and prayed , and laid their hands on them, they sent them away . 12 Then the deputy, when he saw what was done , believed , being astonished at the doctrine of the Lord. 22 Then pleased it the apostles and elders, with the whole church, to send chosen men of their own company to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas; namely, Judas surnamed Barsabas, and Silas, chief men among the brethren: 14 And then immediately the brethren sent away Paul to go as it were to the sea: but Silas and Timotheus abode there still . 26 Then Paul took the men, and the next day purifying himself with them entered into the temple, to signify the accomplishment of the days of purification, until that an offering should be offered for every one of them. 33 Then the chief captain came near , and took him, and commanded him to be bound with two chains; and demanded who he was , and what he had done . 3 Then said Paul unto him, God shall smite thee, thou whited wall: for sittest thou to judge me after the law, and commandest me to be smitten contrary to the law ? 12 Then Festus, when he had conferred with the council, answered , Hast thou appealed unto Caesar? unto Caesar shalt thou go . 1 Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Thou art permitted to speak for thyself. Then Paul stretched forth the hand, and answered for himself : 21 But after long abstinence Paul stood forth in the midst of them, and said , Sirs , ye should have hearkened unto me, and not have loosed from Crete, and to have gained this harm and loss. 32 Then the soldiers cut off the ropes of the boat, and let her fall off . 1 And when they were escaped , then they knew that the island was called Melita.
