Young's Literal Translation
"Brethren , the Scripture had to be fulfilled, which the Holy Spirit foretold by the mouth of David concerning Judas, who became a guide to those who arrested Jesus.
"Therefore it is necessary that of the men who have accompanied us all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us-
whom heaven must receive until the period of restoration of all things about which God spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets from ancient time.
"And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved."
But Peter and the apostles answered, "We must obey God rather than men.
but get up and enter the city, and it will be told you what you must do."
for I will show him how much he must suffer for My name's sake."
strengthening the souls of the disciples, encouraging them to continue in the faith, and saying, "Through many tribulations we must enter the kingdom of God."
But some of the sect of the Pharisees who had believed stood up, saying, "It is necessary to circumcise them and to direct them to observe the Law of Moses."
and after he brought them out, he said, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?"
explaining and giving evidence that the Christ had to suffer and rise again from the dead, and saying, "This Jesus whom I am proclaiming to you is the Christ."
Now after these things were finished, Paul purposed in the Spirit to go to Jerusalem after he had passed through Macedonia and Achaia, saying, "After I have been there, I must also see Rome."
"In everything I showed you that by working hard in this manner you must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He Himself said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'"
But on the night immediately following, the Lord stood at his side and said, "Take courage; for as you have solemnly witnessed to My cause at Jerusalem, so you must witness at Rome also."
who ought to have been present before you and to make accusation, if they should have anything against me.
But Paul said, "I am standing before Caesar's tribunal, where I ought to be tried. I have done no wrong to the Jews, as you also very well know.
Festus said, "King Agrippa, and all you gentlemen here present with us, you see this man about whom all the people of the Jews appealed to me, both at Jerusalem and here, loudly declaring that he ought not to live any longer.
"So then, I thought to myself that I had to do many things hostile to the name of Jesus of Nazareth.
When they had gone a long time without food, then Paul stood up in their midst and said, "Men, you ought to have followed my advice and not to have set sail from Crete and incurred this damage and loss.
saying, 'Do not be afraid, Paul; you must stand before Caesar; and behold, God has granted you all those who are sailing with you.'
"But we must run aground on a certain island."
