Men and brethren, this scripture must needs have been fulfilled , which the Holy Ghost by the mouth of David spake before concerning Judas, which was guide to them that took Jesus.
And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting .
Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.
But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer , he hath so fulfilled .
But Peter said , Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?
Saying , Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold , ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man's blood upon us.
And when he was full forty years old, it came into his heart to visit his brethren the children of Israel.
And when forty years were expired , there appeared to him in the wilderness of mount Sina an angel of the Lord in a flame of fire in a bush.
And after that many days were fulfilled , the Jews took counsel to kill him:
And Barnabas and Saul returned from Jerusalem, when they had fulfilled their ministry, and took with them John, whose surname was Mark.
And as John fulfilled his course, he said , Whom think ye that I am ? I am not he. But, behold , there cometh one after me, whose shoes of his feet I am not worthy to loose .
For they that dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew him not , nor yet the voices of the prophets which are read every sabbath day, they have fulfilled them in condemning him.
And the disciples were filled with joy, and with the Holy Ghost.
And thence sailed to Antioch, from whence they had been recommended to the grace of God for the work which they fulfilled .
After these things were ended , Paul purposed in the spirit, when he had passed through Macedonia and Achaia, to go to Jerusalem, saying , After I have been there, I must also see Rome.
But after two years Porcius Festus came into Felix' room: and Felix, willing to shew the Jews a pleasure, left Paul bound .
