23 And they appointed two, Joseph called Barsabas, who was surnamed Justus, and Matthias. 21 And it shall come to pass , that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved . 36 And Joses, who by the apostles was surnamed Barnabas, (which is , being interpreted , The son of consolation,) a Levite, and of the country of Cyprus, 59 And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying , Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. 14 And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name. 21 But all that heard him were amazed , and said ; Is not this he that destroyed them which called on this name in Jerusalem, and came hither for that intent, that he might bring them bound unto the chief priests? 5 And now send men to Joppa, and call for one Simon, whose surname is Peter: 18 And called , and asked whether Simon, which was surnamed Peter, were lodged there. 32 Send therefore to Joppa, and call hither Simon, whose surname is Peter; he is lodged in the house of one Simon a tanner by the sea side: who, when he cometh , shall speak unto thee. 13 And he shewed us how he had seen an angel in his house, which stood and said unto him, Send men to Joppa, and call for Simon, whose surname is Peter; 12 And when he had considered the thing, he came to the house of Mary the mother of John, whose surname was Mark; where many were gathered together praying . 25 And Barnabas and Saul returned from Jerusalem, when they had fulfilled their ministry, and took with them John, whose surname was Mark. 17 That the residue of men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called , saith the Lord, who doeth all these things. 22 Then pleased it the apostles and elders, with the whole church, to send chosen men of their own company to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas; namely, Judas surnamed Barsabas, and Silas, chief men among the brethren: 16 And now why tarriest thou ? arise , and be baptized , and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord. 11 For if I be an offender , or have committed any thing worthy of death, I refuse not to die : but if there be none of these things whereof these accuse me, no man may deliver me unto them.
