Young's Literal Translation
To these He also presented Himself alive after His suffering, by many convincing proofs, appearing to them over a period of forty days and speaking of the things concerning the kingdom of God.
And as they were gazing intently into the sky while He was going, behold, two men in white clothing stood beside them.
let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead -by this name this man stands here before you in good health.
'THE KINGS OF THE EARTH TOOK THEIR STAND, AND THE RULERS WERE GATHERED TOGETHER AGAINST THE LORD AND AGAINST HIS CHRIST.'
So Peter arose and went with them. When he arrived, they brought him into the upper room ; and all the widows stood beside him, weeping and showing all the tunics and garments that Dorcas used to make while she was with them.
And he gave her his hand and raised her up; and calling the saints and widows, he presented her alive.
The high priest Ananias commanded those standing beside him to strike him on the mouth.
But the bystanders said, "Do you revile God's high priest ?"
They were also to provide mounts to put Paul on and bring him safely to Felix the governor.
When these had come to Caesarea and delivered the letter to the governor, they also presented Paul to him.
"Nor can they prove to you the charges of which they now accuse me.
"For this very night an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I serve stood before me,
saying, 'Do not be afraid, Paul ; you must stand before Caesar ; and behold, God has granted you all those who are sailing with you.'
