16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; 24 Then answered Simon, and said , Pray ye to the Lord for me, that none of these things which ye have spoken come upon me. 34 And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he said on this wise , I will give you the sure mercies of David. 40 Beware therefore, lest that come upon you, which is spoken of in the prophets; 28 For in him we live , and move , and have our being ; as certain also of your own poets have said , For we are also his offspring. 38 Sorrowing most of all for the words which he spake , that they should see his face no more. And they accompanied him unto the ship. 5 Then said Paul, I wist not, brethren, that he was the high priest: for it is written , Thou shalt not speak evil of the ruler of thy people.
