2 And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried , whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple; 9 Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold , the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out . 19 But the angel of the Lord by night opened the prison doors, and brought them forth , and said , 23 Saying , The prison truly found we shut with all safety, and the keepers standing without before the doors: but when we had opened , we found no man within. 6 And when Herod would have brought him forth , the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the keepers before the door kept the prison. 13 And as Peter knocked at the door of the gate, a damsel came to hearken , named Rhoda. 27 And when they were come , and had gathered the church together , they rehearsed all that God had done with them, and how he had opened the door of faith unto the Gentiles. 26 And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken : and immediately all the doors were opened , and every one's bands were loosed . 27 And the keeper of the prison awaking out of his sleep, and seeing the prison doors open , he drew out his sword, and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had been fled . 30 And all the city was moved , and the people ran together : and they took Paul, and drew him out of the temple: and forthwith the doors were shut .
