Young's Literal Translation
For the man was above forty years old, on whom this miracle of healing was shewed .
And when forty years were expired , there appeared to him in the wilderness of mount Sina an angel of the Lord in a flame of fire in a bush.
Then God turned , and gave them up to worship the host of heaven; as it is written in the book of the prophets, O ye house of Israel, have ye offered to me slain beasts and sacrifices by the space of forty years in the wilderness?
And there he found a certain man named Aeneas, which had kept his bed eight years, and was sick of the palsy .
And after that he gave unto them judges about the space of four hundred and fifty years, until Samuel the prophet.
And this continued by the space of two years; so that all they which dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks.
Then Paul, after that the governor had beckoned unto him to speak , answered , Forasmuch as I know that thou hast been of many years a judge unto this nation, I do the more cheerfully answer for myself:
Now after many years I came to bring alms to my nation, and offerings.
