Young's Literal Translation
And when they heard that , they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said , Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is:
In his humiliation his judgment was taken away : and who shall declare his generation? for his life is taken from the earth.
And there sat in a window a certain young man named Eutychus, being fallen into a deep sleep: and as Paul was long preaching , he sunk down with sleep, and fell down from the third loft, and was taken up dead.
And when he was come unto us , he took Paul's girdle, and bound his own hands and feet, and said , Thus saith the Holy Ghost, So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man that owneth this girdle, and shall deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.
For the multitude of the people followed after , crying , Away with him.
And they gave him audience unto this word, and then lifted up their voices, and said , Away with such a fellow from the earth: for it is not fit that he should live .
And when the south wind blew softly , supposing that they had obtained their purpose, loosing thence, they sailed close by Crete.
Which when they had taken up , they used helps, undergirding the ship; and, fearing lest they should fall into the quicksands, strake sail, and so were driven .
