31 And when they had prayed , the place was shaken where they were assembled together ; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness. 13 And set up false witnesses, which said , This man ceaseth not to speak blasphemous words against this holy place, and the law: 14 For we have heard him say , that this Jesus of Nazareth shall destroy this place, and shall change the customs which Moses delivered us. 33 Then said the Lord to him, Put off thy shoes from thy feet: for the place where thou standest is holy ground. 49 Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool : what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest? 3 Him would Paul have to go forth with him; and took and circumcised him because of the Jews which were in those quarters: for they knew all that his father was a Greek. 28 Crying out , Men of Israel, help : This is the man, that teacheth all men every where against the people, and the law, and this place: and further brought Greeks also into the temple, and hath polluted this holy place. 16 To whom I answered , It is not the manner of the Romans to deliver any man to die, before that he which is accused have the accusers face to face , and have licence to answer for himself concerning the crime laid against him. 2 And entering into a ship of Adramyttium, we launched , meaning to sail by the coasts of Asia; one Aristarchus, a Macedonian of Thessalonica, being with us. 8 And, hardly passing it, came unto a place which is called The fair havens ; nigh whereunto was the city of Lasea. 29 Then fearing lest we should have fallen upon rocks , they cast four anchors out of the stern, and wished for the day. 41 And falling into a place where two seas met, they ran the ship aground ; and the forepart stuck fast , and remained unmoveable, but the hinder part was broken with the violence of the waves. 7 In the same quarters were possessions of the chief man of the island, whose name was Publius; who received us, and lodged us three days courteously.
